grumpy bert is really sad to say goodbye to all our bay area friends.
We thank you so much for everyone's support. You guys won't be forgotten!
This isn't intended to be a review, but just wanted to share I watched Toy Story 3 last night. I was really entertained. It even brought a few tears. Everyone go see it! Oh...and please be kind with your toys. We don't need anymore Lotso Bears running this town.
We
just received some of the catalogs of the Vader Project Auction. The
catalog features the incredible artwork of 100 artists that customized
a authentic prop replica of the actual Darth Vader helmet. Truly an
incredible project. Get inspired, get it for yourself, it might even
make a nice father's day present.
“I just wanted to say THANKYOU! I placed an order last Friday, and today my stuff showed up. It’s not like we’re just next door, I’m all the way in good old Georgia. I love buying from small shops, because I always just get better everything (Price, shipping cost and a little note in my package just saying Thanks!). SO THANKYOU!”
Some of you may have seen this ad during the Superbowl. I’ve seen the teasers a few weeks before and have been looking forward to the full commercial. The playfulness with fantasy and reality was sync’d nicely with a James Brown sound-ish tune. This ad reminds me of my interaction with toys. I was pretty happy with the end result.
No matter how hard you try, there will always be grumps. I found this one wandering around our booth at the Renegade Craft Fair. Maybe there’s one next to you.
Scary stuff. Our site was down for about 45 minutes. Wasn’t really a fun moment. Believe me the grump was coming out! Our shopping cart support though was pretty fast on the reply, she even said this…
“I know this may be inappropriate because of the situation but I can’t help to say that your shop looks great!”
Customer service trickery or pure honesty?
I hope it’s the second one.
