lost show jan 26 - feb 24 2013
We are all LOST, in the past and present sense. Whether we want to admit
it or not. The universal state of being can apply to every aspect of
our life from the abstract: Love, innocence, purpose, identity and home.
To the concrete: family, friends, jobs, directions and objects.
On Saturday, January 26, 2013, please join Grumpy Bert and Lost Lit as we explore the theme of LOST with the Brooklyn community and beyond through photos and spoken stories.
We’ll begin the evening with an Open Mic style Reading where over 20 New York writers will share their interpretive stories of being LOST through poetry, fiction and creative nonfiction.
Afterwards we’ll have a reception honoring the photographers featured in the LOST photo show with the LOST writers. We’ll drink, eat, laugh and revel in being LOST together.
