bros and foes

Bros and Foes
March 19 - April 10, 2016
Opening reception: Saturday, March 19th (6:00-8:00pm)

Grumpy Bert is pleased to present Bros and Foes, an exhibition and book launch. Bros and Foes is a project of selected illustrations from Davaro-Comas, who drops you into surreal landscapes populated by his distorted cast of bros, foes and other lurkers. Characters both familiar or from some hallucinatory evening with friends: a collaborative conjuring born of the night’s voices and vignettes. Across the cosmic cornfield, tree-smoking Nicole Shea adds her foul and tender words to the party in Davaro-Comas’s brain, thus creating the book, Bros and Foes.

The show will feature 27 original watercolors, a new book release and a large Bro and Foe mural.

Join us for an evening of epic fun with the launch of Bros and Foes!
