Year of the Ox Exhibition, Chinese American Museum, 2021
Last year’s global pandemic filled with so many losses as we collectively grieved, was hard on everyone. As we transition to a new year, 14 artists celebrate and honor the Year of the Ox and show what strength and resilience means. Not only do they continue to do their art, do the work as a way for us to connect and not feel so alone. They chose a very playful approach to their expression as a way of shining the light in the darkness.
Some of the pieces in this show are available for sale. A part of the proceeds will be donated to the Chinese American Museum and Stop AAPI Hate.
