Grumpy Bert's Red Envelope Show - Year of the Ox
Thank you for checking out our annual Red Envelope Show. Exchanging red envelopes is a beloved custom in many Asian and Asian American communities. The envelopes symbolize a wish for prosperity by way of their signature lucky red color and auspicious imagery. From whimsical to elegant, red envelopes often bear designs that represent good fortune and are given out on special occasions such as the Lunar New Year. Our annual show features artists and illustrators local and afar. Most of the Red Envelopes also include a gift from the artists too!
